Join us for the revival of the beloved Lights on Dundee Gingerbread Contest! After many requests, we are excited to bring this festive event back to the Dundee Neighborhood during our annual Lights on Dundee celebration.

Event Details:

Submission Deadline: Gingerbread creations must be delivered to designated tables at 50th and Underwood by 4:30 PM on December 5th. There will be a designated loading zone for convenient drop-off.

Display: Each contestant will set up their own creation at the designated tables according to their own design wishes.

Voting: The public is invited to vote for their favorite gingerbread creations from 5:00 PM-7:30 PM during the Lights on Dundee event.

Winners Announcement: Contest winners will be announced on-site at 7:45 PM off 50th and Underwood.

Official Rules:

• Your gingerbread creation must be made primarily out of edible materials—at least 75% of the materials used must be edible (though they will not be consumed).

• The creation does not have to be a traditional “house” — we welcome creativity!

Delivery of Creations:

• Deliver your gingerbread creation to the designated area on December 5th by 4:30 PM.

• Clearly mark your name and age on your creation for identification.

Display Duration:

All creations must be removed by their owners before the end of the evening; any remaining creations will be discarded. Regrettably, we will not be able to display gingerbread creations throughout the holiday season this year.

Age Divisions:

Division 1: Ages 1 to 4 years
Division 2: Ages 5 to 9 years
Division 3: Ages 10 to 14 years
Division 4: Ages 15 to 17 years
Division 5: Ages 18 and Up

Prizes:

Prizes will be awarded for 1st Place in each age division.
